For this discussion I wanted focus on writing and wall displays. My goals were to decrease the time that it takes to mark a writing book and to get more displays up on my walls.
Suggestions Writing-
*have the iCan sheet next to me while I mark as apposed to flicking back and forth between the page I‘m on and the cover.
*only focus on the things they need, not the things they can do every time.
*give myself a time limit of 5 minutes for each book. If I haven't finished by the end of time then move on and mark the next book. Revisit the book to complete marking when I am mentally able.
Wall displays-
*use a 3D effect when putting them up, it saves space.
*take old stuff down and put new stuff up.
*set myself a focus on which wall I want to update/upgrade.
Since then-
I have set myself a time limit. Even though I don't stick to it all the time, it makes things a lot easier. I have found I am able to stay focused instead of procrastinating to the point of not being able to mark any more. I have been able to memorize parts of the iCan sheets and mark everything I can remember instead of going through each individual criteria. I halved the time it takes to mark which is the best part!
I have a
couple of new displays up. One topic and two discovery displays which are
annotated. Last week I set my self a task of putting up a new display and
managed to get two up.
