What is the teacher doing to scaffold the learning intention with his/her writing group
The tch is with her group and chn are focused on their learning intention. Chn are asked to rearrange a simple sentence to include question marks. I like how there is a lot of discussion around their task. The chn were more successful when they verbalised their sentence, rather than writing down straight away.
Tch effectively roams around the class room providing feedback and feedfoward so the chn can improve there writing skills.
Im very impressed by the scaffolding thats going on between tch and chn. The chn are more engaged and are keen to make their writing more interesting, including things that they need to focus on from their iCan sheet. This will be my next step to try in my classroom
